Heidi McGrath
Dancer
Heidi McGrath graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance at Brigham Young University in April 2015. She received numerous awards and scholarships during her time at BYU, and she was chosen to represent the Dance Department in the College of Fine Arts and Communications convocation program. As a member of one of BYU’s top performing companies, Contemporary Dance Theatre, she has been able to tour and perform on many stages all over the continental United States, as well as in China and throughout Europe. Heidi has trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and she has taken master classes with acclaimed professionals all over the world. She loves all styles of dance, so she is highly trained in multiple genres. She has also been able to work with many prestigious dancers and choreographers in her life such as Ihsan Rustem, Loni Landon, and Summer Rhatigan, to name a few. She currently dances with SALT Contemporary Dance, directed by Michelle Nielsen in Draper, UT, for the 2015-2016 season. More than anything, she loves people. She loves learning from others, as well as being able to share what she has with those around her. She is very grateful for all of the amazing people and opportunities in her life.
